Battery and charging
Capacity and daily use work together.
What it means
Capacity and daily use work together.
Usage spends energy
More screen time uses more energy.
Capacity is one part
mAh alone cannot predict hours of battery life.
Choose a suitable charger
Use the original or a compatible certified charger and cable.
Before you buy
mAh is capacity, not guaranteed hours. Watts are maximum capability, not guaranteed charging time. Charger, cable, protocol, display, network and heat matter.

Battery size
mAh tells you capacity. A 5,000 mAh phone typically lasts a full day; 6,000 mAh and above often stretches into a second day. Newer silicon-carbon batteries are why some phones now fit 7,000 mAh or more without getting much thicker.
The processor and screen also affect battery life, so the same mAh can last differently on two phones.
Charging speed
Watts (W) show the fastest charging the phone supports. 45 W and above is quick; 80 W and above can reach most of a full charge in well under an hour. You need a compatible charger and cable to get that speed.
Some brands no longer include a charger in the box. Check before you buy and add the cost of a good charger if needed.
