How we rank
Updated 10 October 2026
Methodology pd-1.0
Spec assessment describes listed hardware, with coverage. Fit for you is a personal order for your budget and priorities, not a universal winner. Editorial categories and store relationships never contribute to fit.
Fit calculation
Ordered priorities have weights 1, 0.7 and 0.5; default priorities have equal weights. Unknown signals use a disclosed 0.25 ranking placeholder, never a verified hardware value. A priced variant and at least one known signal are required. Saving bonus is up to 0.06; unknown required 5G subtracts 0.1. Ties use price then stable ID.
Coverage and bands
Android spec bands: Strong >=7.5, Balanced >=5, Basic below 5. Overall averages at least four known hardware areas, excludes Value and names missing inputs. Value separately requires comparable RAM/storage and a checked price no older than 60 days. Per-area formulas are exposed in Android assessment dialogs; the versioned JSON contract is at /api/v1/methodology.
Dated prices
0–7 days: Recently checked; 8–30: Checked price; over 30: Price may be outdated. Unknown/future dates: Price not verified. Launch prices are references. Dates use Indian time.
Your needs first
The finder considers your budget, platform, storage and chosen priorities. Only records with the required verified fields and an eligible recorded price are ranked.
Hardware signals
Camera uses recorded lens features and stabilisation, battery uses capacity, performance uses processor class, display uses recorded panel and refresh rate, and update support uses the recorded promise. These explain specifications, not real-world test results.
Price and gaps
Prices have check dates. A small budget-saving bonus can affect the order. Missing inputs are disclosed; they are not turned into invented review ratings. Verify today’s seller price, exact variant and terms before paying.
Commercial independence
Store links do not change the hardware rules. Any enabled affiliate relationships must be disclosed on the affiliate page.
