Advertising and privacy
Android v0.0.12 adds one labelled Google AdMob banner inside the Phones list, never on Discover. Debug builds use Google test ads. Google may collect and share IP-derived approximate location, product/ad interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers (such as Advertising ID or App Set ID) for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Data is transmitted using encryption. Google controls its own retention; contact support for requests concerning data we control. Saved phones and comparison choices remain local and are not supplied as an ad profile. Where required, consent is requested before ad requests; use Ad privacy choices in You to manage or withdraw it. The website has one prepared AdSense placement below the brand row, currently disabled pending approval and consent-message setup. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies/device identifiers and process request and interaction information for advertising. Ad privacy choices appear in the website footer where applicable. We do not control Google or retailer data deletion. No location, contacts, camera or microphone permission is requested.
Local preferences
Saved phones, comparison choices, quiz answers, recent phones, purchase checklist and appearance settings are stored on your device. Android also stores the catalogue and a bounded image cache. Clear app storage or this website’s browser data to remove local preferences. No buyer account is needed.
Catalogue and photo requests
Catalogue refreshes contact the configured server. Product photos may load from the recorded external image host; it can receive normal request metadata. Hosting systems may keep operational request logs. Offline caches reduce repeated downloads.
Optional website usage counts
When enabled in display settings, the website sends closed-list events to its own server and aggregates daily totals, without a device ID or free search text. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable these counts. Administrator sign-ins and changes have separate security audit records.
Notifications and sharing
Optional price notifications use local saved prices and public catalogue requests. Comparison and finder links disclose the information included in the shared URL. WhatsApp sharing opens an external service only when you tap it.
External websites
Retailers and operators follow their own privacy practices. Google advertising is described above; other external services follow their own policies. We do not claim to control external sites or hosting-provider log retention.
